Adrienne and Brett married October 20, 2013. Vintage decor and whimsical nature came together to create this soft, romantic day that began in our Metropolitan Terrace. Nearly 110 guests arrived to the ceremony where a garden ambiance awaited. An ornate birdcage for cards and sign-in tree for guests to leave their thumbprints greeted them upon arrival. Tree stumps lined the aisle leading to a beautiful arch of branches with peonies and roses woven in. This was such a creative, budget-friendly way to add detail to the aisle - our resourceful bride obtained the tree stumps for free, then all that was needed were some small floral arrangements and vintage jars and vases! The bride's dress even featured delicate flowers in the tulle and she paired it with a bolero during the ceremony made up of rosettes.
During the Cocktail Hour in our Scandal Lounge, the couple embraced the landscape around The Citizen Hotel for their stunning photos together. Shortly after, guests were invited back up to the transformed Terrace. The entry table in the elevator landing displayed an eclectic array of trays where guests could pick up their escort card and favor, a decorative paperweight. Inside, all the centerpieces were slightly different; although, each had the soft romantic and nature inspired feel with various vintage accents. We love when centerpieces can each bring something different to the table! This lovely couple also added variety to the evening with a traditional French croquembouche instead of wedding cake. How delectable! This magical evening continued as guests danced the night away!
