Nick and Kelly married on September 14, 2013. An incredibly unique wedding surrounded this stunning couple. To set the precedent for the evening, the bride wore a striking black, lace dress. That's right, I said black, and it could not have been more fabulous! As she walked down the aisle of our Metropolitan Terrace, 170 guests looked on in awe. The bridesmaids complemented the bride perfectly with their emerald dresses and white still made an appearance in the elaborate calla lily, orchid, and feather arrangements. Following the ceremony, the guests were invited to the Plaza Park Ballroom for Cocktail Hour as the Terrace transformed into a Cocktail-Style Reception.
The black and emerald tones carried through to the reception decor. What better way to bring these colors together than peacock feather accents in the signage, flowers, and tucked into the napkins. With this couple, guests were not going to find a DJ and plated dinner upon their return to the Terrace. Instead, the band Strong Like Bull welcomed them back and guests could help themselves to a variety of Citizen's displayed hors d'oeuvres. Even dessert was served with a twist - instead of one large wedding cake, a dessert bar stood consisting of individual Chocolate Hardhat Cheesecakes and New York Cheesecakes! Everyone danced the night away to the live music and then continued the celebration at an after-party in our Scandal Lounge. We think it's safe to say, this spectacular wedding day will be one we won't soon forget!
